Our Dallas Facility is located in the prestigious INFOMART and prides itself on having the most advanced student hardware available.
Our base systems boast:
- Dual Core, Dual Processor Intel Xeon 5160 processors
- Minimum of 4GB of RAM, with a maximum of 32GB of RAM
- Microsoft Windows XP (Vista Business Edition x64 in some rooms)
- Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise Edition (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher, InfoPath, Groove, and OneNote)
- nVidia Quadro FX 256MB video adapter for full Vista Aero experience
- 19” Flat Panel monitor with stereo speaker bar
- 1TB of storage over 2 physical 7200rpm hard drives
- 16x DVD+/-R Optical Drive
- USB 2.0 and 1394A (FireWire) connections
All of the above systems are housed in custom designed desks from SMARTdesks with recessed monitor stands, accessibility standards for both right and left-hand oriented clients, and high-back ergonomic chairs to enable a better learning environment. All of the desks have AC and Ethernet adapters on the desktop surface to allow clients to use their own laptop PCs, if necessary.
